The legal aid services include pre-litigation legal advice and consultation to help individuals understand their legal rights, remedies, and procedural options before initiating or defending legal proceedings. Assistance is also provided in the drafting of essential legal documents such as applications, representations, replies, affidavits, legal notices, and other necessary pleadings required to protect legal rights. Subject to the nature and merits of the case, representation may be extended before appropriate Courts, Tribunals, and statutory authorities, particularly where the interests of justice demand such intervention.

The chamber also provides legal aid in service and employment-related matters, including disputes concerning termination, unpaid dues, gratuity, pension, and other service benefits. Family and matrimonial issues such as maintenance, domestic violence, child custody, and allied matters are handled with sensitivity, confidentiality, and a focus on protecting dignity and welfare. Legal aid may further be extended in land and property matters involving land acquisition, compensation, possession disputes, and protection of property rights of economically weaker and marginalized individuals. Limited assistance is also provided in criminal law matters, including legal advice during investigation, bail applications, and protection of fundamental rights of the accused or victims, strictly in accordance with law.

The grant of legal aid services is exercised purely at the discretion of Advocate Akash Bhushan, taking into consideration the financial condition of the applicant, the nature and urgency of the legal issue, the merits of the case, and the availability of professional resources. Preference is generally given to individuals belonging to economically weaker sections, women, senior citizens, and persons facing genuine hardship. All legal aid services are rendered with the same level of sincerity, professionalism, and ethical commitment as paid matters, without any assurance or guarantee of outcome, as legal proceedings depend upon facts, law, and judicial discretion. Where appropriate, assistance may also be provided in guiding applicants towards Legal Services Authorities or other statutory bodies established for providing free legal aid under law.
